Baking Post! 1: Homemade Brownies and Homemade Peanut butter and Chocolate Brownies

LET'S BAKE!

Ingredients

1/2 cup of vegetable oil
1 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
2 eggs
1/2 cup of flour
1/3 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon of baking powder
1/4 teaspoon of salt
A jar of peanut butter (if you are making the peanut butter & chocolate brownies)
Hershey kisses or chocolate chips

Utensils

Two Medium sized bowls
A 9x9 inch pan

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350F. Make sure you grease your pan before you start baking!

Now, in one medium bowl mix the sugar, vanilla, and vegetable oil. Make sure to mix well. Then, one by one, mix in the eggs. Mix.

In the other medium bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

It should look like this.

Slowly, pour the dry ingredients into the bowl with the wet ingredients and stir until all of the ingredients are mixed in well. If you are going to add the Kisses or Chocolate chips, mix them into the batter. (NOTE: If using the Hershey Kisses. Make sure you chop them up into tiny pieces before mixing them into the batter)

Now it should look like this:

Okay. Now pour the batter into the greased pan evenly.

This is where the recipe changes. If you are making the normal brownies, just put the pan in the oven and bake for 15 to 20 mins.

If you are making the Peanut Butter and Chocolate brownies, keep reading.

Now take a spoon and drop small dollops of peanut butter all over the batter.

Like so.

Now swirl the peanut butter into the batter.

After swirling it, place the pan into oven and bake for 15-20 mins.

After baking, let it cool and enjoy! Serve with milk or ice cream or how ever you take your brownies!

This makes 16 servings.
