Rome was humming to himself when passed Cleopatra as he walked to Julius's room.
She smiled softly and waved before she continued down the hall. Rome was in shock and stared after her( not staring at her long black hair and her curvy hips that swayed from side to side no..) until she disappeared around the corner.
As soon as she was gone, Rome hurried to Julius's room and knocked on the door once before entering. Julius was lounging on a couch, eating figs and looking very smug. He stopped eating and smiled at Rome.
"Ah! Rome! What is the urgency, hmm?" he asked.
Rome pointed behind him and said, "I just saw Ptolemy's daughter Cleopatra leave from this way....Was she in here with you?"
Julius smiled smugly again. "She is very vibrant, smart and energetic young woman isn't she?"
Rome stared at Julius. "You didn't..."
Julius went back to eating figs and said nothing.
"You did! Julius! That is cradle robbing!! Sort of. But still!"
"No it isn't. And who said I did anything with the girl?"
Rome raised an eyebrow at Caesar.
Caesar stared back.
Rome sighed.
"How about this," started Caesar, "You tell me about your night with Lady Egypt and I will tell you what the girl and I really did. Is that fair?"
Rome blushed. "How did you-?"
Caesar smirked. "You were staring at her like some lovesick legionnaire when she arrived and then you two are very vocal at night."
Rome sighed and sat down in front of Caesar. "What do you want to know?"
Julius Caesar grinned.
